An interesting article on the movement of the construction industry for the June Quarter. In a nutshell;
- Residential Construction up by 2.2% for the quarter (10% for the year)
- Commercial Construction up by 0.5% (3% for the year)
- Engineering Construction (mining & civil) down by 3.1% ( down 6% for the year)
Overall, construction fell by 1.2% for the quarter, but the report suggests that the state of the industry is not as bad as these figures indicate. A good read, see the link below.
